Yes! you read it right. The wait is finally over and MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM 6.8.11 is here! If you are already on previous version of MIUI 7 Global Developer ROM then you will receive OTA but the rest of you will have to enjoy the MIUI 8 experience by manually downloading and fastboot flashing the ROM. Please read the entire thread carefully before proceeding.

Flashing Guide:
1. If you are already using Global Developer ROM on your Mi 5, then you will automatically receive OTA update notification or you can manually check for update using Updater app. For rest of the users, you will need to manually download and flash China Developer ROM.
2. For Mi 5 regular users on stable ROM, if you are upgrading to MIUI 8 China Developer ROM for the first time then please do it via fastboot update. For fastboot flash, Unlock your device first. For Unlock information, Click Here.
