Guys,
I bought an immaculate second hand Note 5 for 160/$180/£140 including shipping. It comes with the charger and an official Samsung case. It doesn't come with the box or anything else. I won't have it until tomorrow but I'm just trying to get a head start at hopefully fixing it.
Now here's the problem. The guy I bought it from got it from his work place. It was on the Vodafone network but he got it unlocked. He also rooted it. When he went to sell it a couple months back he factory reset it and now it doesn't go past the "Samsung Galaxy Note 5" splash screen. He's had it collecting dust for 3 months now.
Does this sound like it'll be as easy as an ODIN flash? As far as I know if it gets stuck on bootloops or stuck at the splash screen it's soft bricked and not hard bricked.
I've attached pictures if they help at all but I doubt it. Apparently it's a lot cleaner than the pictures and doesn't have a scratch on it. He also guarantees it's not water damaged!
Any help appreciated!
